The school said the tablets were worth $13,405, according to a police report. Three people have access to the basement room, but three sets of keys for that room are also missing, the report says.

He asked a 30-year-old man who got up to leave if he had a problem with him, before abruptly punching the guy in his ribs, the report says.

Vicious home visit

Cops took a 36-year-old man into custody after he allegedly attacked an Administration for Children Services worker who was conducting a routine home visit inside the Whitman Houses on June 13.

The 59-year-old case worker told police she was conducting her regular visit at the apartment on Cumberland Walk between Murtle and Park avenues at 5:15 pm when the man grabbed her around the neck with both hands and started choking her.

Authorities arrived, took the case worker to Brooklyn Hospital Center, and arrested the suspect, according to a police report.
