Calculated crook
A disgruntled employee threw vitriol and calculators at her boss on Kings Highway on Nov. 27 following a disagreement over pay, according to police.
The victim told police that she was between E. 17th and E. 18th streets at 1:15 pm when her employee began demanding restitution. After realizing that no amount of screaming would earn her a pay check, the wretched worker took up a calculator instead and hurled it at her boss, cops said.
Easy pickings
A knife-wielding thug robbed a 14-year-old boy on Oxford Street on Nov. 28 — taking his Samsung Galaxy cellphone.
The victim told police that he was near Shore Boulevard at 1:20 pm when the goon sauntered up and asked to use the boy’s phone. Naively, the young victim handed it over, at which point the razor-wielding reprobate drew his knife and told the kid to scram, cops said.
Alarmed looter
A bungling burglar attempted to loot a man’s Avenue X apartment on Nov. 28, but was shooed away by the property’s alarm system.
Police officers responded to an alarm between E. 13th and E. 14th streets at 1:30 pm, where they found pry marks along the edge of the victim’s front door.
The officers concluded that the thief had attempted to bust open the victim’s door with some kind of tool, but was deterred by the door’s deadlock and alarm system, cops said.
Pay day
A thief looted a man’s E. 27th Street home on Nov. 27, taking $15,000 worth of jewelry.
The victim told police that he left his abode between Avenues R and S at noon, and returned four hours later to find a white jewelry box containing $15,000 worth of precious stones had been nabbed.
Garage goon
Cops arrested an 18-year-old boy for attempting to steal a digital tablet from a man’s E. 24th Street home on Nov. 24.
The victim told police that he was inside his house between Avenues S and T at 8 pm when the suspect allegedly snuck into his garage and tried to take his tablet out of his car.
