Brutal subway sack

A vicious brute beat a woman on the Bergen Street subway platform on June 23, taking a bag full of her clothes, cops said.

The 27-year-old victim was waiting for a train on the Brooklyn-bound platform of the station at Bergen and Smith streets at 6:44 pm when the cretin came up from behind and started punching her in the face, according to a police report.

The woman fell and the punk took her bag and ran, the report says. The woman told police the bag contained only some clothes.

Out of sight

An eagle-eyed thief snatched a woman’s purse while she was shopping for eyeglasses inside a Fulton Street store on June 20, cops said.

The 45-year-old woman told police she was visiting the optical outlet between Pearl and Jay streets at 4:30 pm, and left her purse hanging from the back of a chair. After she finished perusing the specs, she realized the purse was gone, police said.

The woman told authorities her bag contained $110 in cash, a birth certificate, a Social Security card, and debit and credit cards.

Quick pick

Authorities are after a quick-moving pickpocket who grabbed a man’s wallet from his front pocket onboard a B train on June 23, and then dashed off into the station, cops said.

The 22-year-old victim told police he was riding a Brooklyn-bound B train at 2:40 pm, and as the train pulled into the DeKalb Avenue station, near the intersection of DeKalb and Flatbush Avenue Extension, the sneak snatched the wallet and disembarked as the doors were closing.

The victim said the wallet contained $50 in cash, debit, and credit cards.

Lush worker

A thief that prays on sleeping train passengers struck onboard an A train on June 17 — taking the wallet of a slumbering 36-year-old man, according to authorities.

The groggy rider told cops he was dozing on a Queens-bound A train at 3:20 pm, when he felt someone tugging at his pocket. He woke up to see a man run off the train at the Hoyt-Schermerhorn stop, near the intersection of Hoyt and Schermerhorn streets, and noticed his wallet was gone, police said. The wallet contained $27 in cash, a debit card, and a credit card, according to a police report.

Copper caper

Police are looking for a metal-minded crook who took a bunch of copper wire from a storage room in a school on Flatbush Avenue Extension sometime between June 20 and 23, cops said.

School officials told authorities the wire was lifted from the school between Bridge and Tillary streets sometime between 3:30 am on June 20 and 1 am on June 23. The 16 rolls of copper are valued at $2,600, according to a police report.

CitiBike stolen

Cops busted a 13-year-old who they say stole a CitiBike on Hanover Place on June 26, authorities said.

A 66-year-old woman told cops she saw him take the ride from its docking station near Fulton Street. Police reported finding the teen at 11:20 am.

Prisoner punched

Cops charged a 30-year-old man for punching a fellow prisoner in the face inside of a Central Bookings cell on Schermerhorn Street on June 26, according to a police report.

The two men were in a holding cell inside the court house between Smith Street and Boerum Place at 11:30 pm, the report says. A 49-year-old man waiting to be booked told authorities the other man punched him in the face for no reason.

Bad night out

A sneak snatched a woman’s purse from the back of her chair while she dined in a Montague Street restaurant on June 27, police said.

The 66-year-old woman told cops she and her husband were at the eatery between Hicks Street and Pierrepont Place at 9:21 pm, and she left her purse hanging from the back of her chair.

Someone grabbed the bag and ran, cops said. The woman told police the bag contained $60 in cash, her cellphone, eyeglasses, and various other personal effects.

Very valuable bike

A bike burglar bagged a ride worth $17,000 from inside a Pacific Street building sometime between June 27 and 28, according to authorities.

The 49-year-old cyclist told police he last saw the expensive bike in a common area of his apartment building, between Bond and Nevins streets, on June 27 at 11 am. He noticed it was missing the next day at 7 pm, cops said. The bike was a Colnago C59, according to a police report.
