Human slot machine

A pair of tough guys intimidated a man into taking cash out of a Bedford Avenue automatic teller machine and giving it to them on July 1. And then they followed him home and made him do it again.

The 25-year-old victim told police that he was hanging out outside of a bar between N. Seventh and N. Eighth streets at 3:45 am when he got into an argument with two men. One of them demanded that he take cash out of a nearby cash machine.

“Take out the money,” the crook said. “If you don’t, I’m going to f--- you up.”

The victim took out $200 and give it to the men. Then he got into a cab and went home. When he got there, he found that that men had followed him to his house.

They once again demanded that he take money out of a cash machine. The victim then withdrew another $200 and handed it to them.

Bad romance

A woman shot at her husband on Eagle Street on July 6 — after the man moved out of their home and didn’t tell her where he went, cops reported.

The 37-year-old victim told police that he moved out of his wife’s home and went to live at a shelter without telling her where he went. His wife tracked him down to Eagle Street between McGuinness Boulevard and Manhattan Avenue using the global positioning system on his cellphone and came after him at 10:24 am with three large men in tow, cops reported.

He told police he heard one of the men say, “Go ahead. Do it,” before his wife shot in his direction, according to the police report.

Break-in

Someone tried to break into a woman’s Lorimer Street home on June 30 — but ran off when she attempted to catch him in the act.

The woman told police that she was at her house between Bayard and Richardson street at 1 pm when she heard someone trying to break in through the front door.

She approached the door and heard the would-be robber ran away. She went outside and found the door and door frame both damaged by what might have been a screwdriver.

Coffee time

A video captured two men trying to break in to a N. Sixth Street business on June 30.

The two men were caught on video trying to break into the front window of a coffee shop between Berry Street and Bedford Avenue at 1:35 am.

They tried to use a blunt object to smash the front window and when it failed, they both ran away.

Uninvited guest

Someone broke into a man’s Beadel Street home on July 5 — and stole his computer equipment.

The man told police that he left his house between Morgan and Vandeervoort avenues between 2 and 3 pm.

When he came back, he found all of his electronics — including his MacBook Air, laptop computer, and iPad — missing. There were no signs of forced entry.

Invited guest

A man who went home with a woman he met at a bar on June 29 robbed the Leonard Street apartment while she slept.

The woman told police that she met the man at a watering hole in Manhattan and then brought him home to her apartment between Metropolitan Avenue and Conselyea Street at 11:30 pm. As soon as they got inside, the woman fell asleep.

She woke up at 2 am to find the man gone and her iPhone, debit card, keys, and phone charger all missing. She told police the name of the man she brought home.
