Cops cuffed a suspect who they say raided a Bath Avenue apartment for valuables and damaged several pieces of property with an accomplice on Oct. 16 — while the resident was at home.
The victim said the defendant and his as-of-yet unapprehended female companion broke into his pad between 21st Avenue and Bay 28th Street at 6 pm. The duo then allegedly swiped the tenant’s Social Security card, two Greyhound bus tickets, cellphone, and $1,000 cash from a drawer.
At the same time, the victim said, the at-large harpy hurled his laptop to the floor and flung several items of his clothing out the window, before fleeing with her friend.
Schoolyard bully
A man was arrested for taking part in a brutal gang assault in back of a 20th Avenue grammar school on Nov. 8.
The victim reported that the accused — along with eight unapprehended accomplices and one in-custody juvenile delinquent — punched and kicked him behind the school between 67th and 68th streets at 5 pm, then bludgeoned him with a metal pipe.
The attack put the victim in the hospital.
Wife or life
Police picked up a man who they say threatened to kill two teens on Bay 26th Street for sleeping with his wife on Nov. 10.
The victims — aged 13 and 14 — were between 86th Street and Benson Avenue at 9:15 pm when the man in custody allegedly told them that he would murder them if he found out they had had sex with his wife.
The two minors said that the accused showed them his gang tattoos and a knife tucked into his belt — then feinted as though he were about to draw the blade.
