Bad driver
A 19-year-old man was arrested for speeding and driving without a license on E. 92nd Street on Aug. 20 — and for allegedly punching a cop in the face when the officer tried to slap cuffs on him.
The arresting officers reported they were near Avenue J at 2:50 am when they spotted the suspect speeding. When they checked his information against Department of Motor Vehicles, the officers discovered that the suspect’s license had been suspended after he failed to heed a summons for a previous traffic violation.
As a result, the officers decided to arrest on the suspect, and that’s when he allegedly punched one of the officers in the face, giving him a nasty cut on the chin.
