Blunt force
Authorities arrested a man who they say went on a rampage through a woman’s 86th Street apartment while carrying marijuana wrapped in cigar paper on Aug. 20.
The apartment tenant said the suspect was in her home near the corner of W. Ninth Street at 11:36 pm when he hurled a glass bottle at her, striking her on the arm. The woman said the accused then flung another bottle at her television set, breaking it, then reached up and knocked pieces off her chandelier. The tenant phoned the police, who cuffed and searched the man — and discovered a blunt in his pocket.
