Hit and snatch
Policed arrested a teenager who they say hit a woman and stole her designer purse on Avenue K on June 6.
The victim told police she was near E. 96th Street at 1:15 am when the teen punched her in the face and demanded she hand over her Marc Jacobs bag. The victim told police the defendant grabbed the bag — which had her iPhone, Nook reading tablet, credit card, and $25 cash in it — off her shoulder and ran away.
The defendant is being charged with robbery, grand larceny, petit larceny, and attempted assault.
Chair smash
Police arrested a 26-year-old woman for hitting a man and smashing the window of his car on E. 105th Street on June 10.
Police said the victim was between Flatlands and Avenue J at 3 am when the woman hit him in the face — then picked up a chair and bashed it into the window of his car.
The defendant is being charged with assault, criminal mischief, attempted assault, menacing and harassment.
