Bully bashers
Two perps punched a man for his iPhone while on a 4 train as it pulled into the Grand Army Plaza station on May 17.
The 23-year-old victim told police that was sitting inside the Manhattan-bound train as it pulled it into the station near Flatbush Avenue at 3:50 am.
Suddenly, one of the two young miscreants punched him, while the other snatched the cellular device from his hand. They both fled out of the train.
Workday gone wrong
A thief looted an employee’s wallet while she was working at an Atlantic Avenue party store on May 17.
The 23-year-old victim told cops that she left her bag in the employee coatroom inside the department store near Flatbush Avenue at 5:40 pm, and when she returned an hour later she noticed that her pocketbook was ransacked.
The crook got away with her zebra-print wallet holding her credit and debit cards, school identification card, and Social Security card.
Cycle robber
A bandit broke into a Douglass Street home and made off with two bicycles sometime between the night of May 15 and the afternoon of May 16.
The 51-year-old victim told police she was in the house between Fourth and Fifth avenues from 9 pm on May 15 to 4 pm the next day when the crook busted in through the basement door, causing damage, and made off with a black mountain bike and blue woman’s cycle.
Busted
Police cuffed a 40-year-old man who they say stole a woman’s purse while she was perusing through a Flatbush Avenue department store on May 17.
The 20-year-old victim told police that someone grabbed her brown tote bag, holding $250, out of her shopping cart while inside the store near Atlantic Avenue at 1 pm.
The woman pointed the perp out to the arresting officer inside the retail outlet.
Caught in a bad romance
Someone stole more than $6,000 worth of goods from a woman’s Seventh Avenue apartment on May 14 — and the victim suspects the crook was her boyfriend.
The 33-year-old victim told cops that she gave her boyfriend the keys to her apartment near 10th Street before she left her abode at 8:30 am. Her boyfriend told her that he was going to the apartment during the time that she was away.
When the woman returned about five hours later, she noticed her three laptops, Nintendo Wii game console, five gold rings, two silver pendants, a pair of gold diamond studded earrings, and a gold charm bracelet, was missing.
There was no sign of forced entry, according to a police report.
Motorcycle heist
A crook jacked a woman’s motorcycle that was left on 15th Street sometime between April 29 and May 5.
The 38-year-old victim told police that her husband parked the black Honda motorcycle on the street between Fourth and Fifth avenues on April 29 at 8 pm. When she returned six days later at 5 pm to get her ride, the two-wheeler was gone.
Gym rat
A crook broke into a gym-goer’s locker inside a Ninth Street fitness center on May 12.
The victim told police that he left $130 and a credit card in his pant pocket inside the locker of the gym between Fifth and Sixth avenues at 6 am. When he returned two-and-a-half-hours later, the cash and the card were missing.
Break in
A thief broke into a commercial van parked on Third Avenue and stole more than $5,000 worth of tools and construction equipment on May 13.
The driver of the black vehicle told cops that he parked the ride near First Street while he was on the job at 11 am. When he returned 45 minutes later, the assorted tools and gear were gone.
The crook entered the vehicle through the passenger-side window, according to a police report.
