Wheel goes round
Cops arrested a man who they say broke into a Bay Parkway apartment on Jan. 1 and threw the resident out of his wheelchair.
Police allege that at 4:10 am the suspect pried open the window of the victim’s home at the corner of 66th Street and entered without permission. When the accused encountered the tenant, he flipped him out of his wheelchair — causing the victim to suffer an injury to his finger.
Fire fight
Police arrested two people who they claim brutally assaulted, mugged, and threatened to set fire to a man on 63rd Street on Jan. 1.
The victim told police he was near Bay Parkway at 4 pm when the duo punched him and threw him to the ground.
They then took his car key and wallet, and demanded money from him, police said. As the man tried to rise, police say one of the suspects doused him in alcohol and asked his companion for a light.
“Give me a match, I am going to light him on fire,” the suspect allegedly said.
