The victim told police that he left work between E. 21st and E. 22nd streets at 8 pm, and returned the next morning to find a Dell desktop computer, an Apple laptop, a scanner, copier, and a fax machine had been taken.
There had been a fire at the building next door, and the responding firefighters had cut a hole in the business’s security gate and damaged the front door, police said.

The victim told police that he had left his home between Plumb First and Plumb Second streets at 4:30 pm, returning about an hour later to find that his kitchen window was ajar, and that his $300 bike had been stolen.
Light my fire
