The Federal Emergency Management Agency has agreed to attend a special meeting tonight at the Kings Bay Y on Nostrand Avenue so community members who suffered property damage during Hurricane Sandy can go to gain information on services the federal government is providing, according to Councilman Lew Fidler (D–Marine Park).
“Since the storm, I’ve secured generators, clothing, trucks of food, and needed supplies, and I continue to work hard to see the restoration of basic services,” said Fidler. “But information on available aid is also needed, which is why these meetings are so important.”
Meeting with the Federal Emergency Management Agency at the Kings Bay Y [3495 Nostrand Ave. between avenues U and V in Sheepshead Bay,(718) 648-7703] Nov. 14, 7 pm.
