Teen machine

A group of bullies surrounded a teen on Johnson Street at Flatbush Avenue Extension on Oct. 16 and robbed him of his phone, police said.

The 15-year-old victim said he was at the intersection at 3:40 pm when a crew of 6-10 goons approached and surrounded him. They demanded his phone, snatched it out of his bag, and demanded the code to unlock it, according to a police report.

“Put in your password or I’m going to punch you in the face,” he supposedly said.

The kid complied and the scoundrels skedaddled, officers said.

CitiHeist

Officers arrested three teenagers who they say stole CitiBikes from Downtown docks on Oct. 12 and 13.

Police stopped the two 16-year-olds and one 17-year old at 9:24 pm on Oct. 13 for riding the bikes recklessly, according to a police report. The cops checked with the bike-share program and found that the two-wheelers were not authorized to be out of their docks.

The Police Department accuses the teens of swiping one bike from the dock at the corner of Montague Street and Cadman Plaza West on Oct. 13 at 5:01 pm, another from the corner of State and Smith streets around the same time on the same day, and the third from the dock at the corner of the Myrtle Avenue promenade and Jay Street at the same time the day before, according to a report.

Street violence

Cops cuffed a man for who they say robbed a woman at knifepoint near the corner of Pearl and Willoughby streets on Oct. 16.

The 26-year-old victim said she was walking near the intersection at 9:24 am when the suspect pushed her against the wall and told her to remove her pocketbook and take off her shoes. Then he held a knife to the back of her head and to her to side and called her a “b----,” she said.

The guy went into her bag and took a cellphone, a set of keys, and $26 in cash, according to a police report. Officers arrived and found the 49-year-old suspect with the victim’s property and a knife on him, and slapped the bracelets on him, according to cops.

Cell divide

A quick-moving crook snatched a cellphone from a man in a parked car on Nassau Street on Oct. 17, police said.

The 51-year-old victim said he was on the phone between Bridge and Duffield streets at 5:50 pm when the sneak grabbed the phone from his hand and ran.

Cracking the Zip code

The authorities arrested a man who they say tried to steal a Zipcar from a parking lot on Cadman Plaza East on Oct. 17.

Employees of the car-sharing company reported that the suspect attempted to rent a 2014 Jeep with a fraudulent key from a lot on Cadman Plaza East between Prospect Street and Red Cross Place at 11:37 pm.

Cops cuffed the 19-year-old suspect the next day, according to a police report.

Remote acces

Someone broke into a Bergen Street home on Oct. 13 while the owners were traveling abroad, but they saw him on a security video and alerted the authorities, cops said.

The 46-year-old resident called police from out of the country after seeing a burglar break into his apartment between Bond and Nevins streets on a streaming video surveillance system at 9:14 pm. The owner was not able to tell if anything was taken and told police he would check back with them once he returned from his trip, according to a police report.

Police also checked out the apartment and talked to neighbors, the report says.

Bag grab

A couple of degenerates robbed a woman on the corner of Water and Washington streets on Oct. 13, cops said.

The 28-year-old victim said she was walking towards the Brooklyn Bridge at 10 pm when two galoots in their 20s grabbed her. One of the louts held her by the arm while the other yanked her backpack off, according to the NYPD.

Both punks took off in a dark blue or black four-door sedan, law enforcement officials said. The bag contained $800 in cash, a laptop, a camera, and a cellphone, officers stated.
