Police are looking for the man they say robbed a senior citizen in Midwood on Sept. 17.
Cops say the suspect followed a 73-year-old man into an apartment building on East 13th Street, between Avenues O and P at around noon that day, and then entered the elevator with the senior citizen. When the victim got off at the fourth floor, police say the suspect punched the elderly man in the face and stole his wallet.
Police say the senior citizen suffered a laceration to his head and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Authorities released a photograph of the alleged mugger taken by the elevator’s security camera and asked for the public’c help in identifying and location the suspect.
