Off his meds

A thug mugged a man for his pills, cash, and cellphone on W. Sixth Street on Oct. 11, cops report.

The victim told police he was near Highlawn Avenue at 11:25 pm when the robber came up behind him and threw him to the ground. The goon then held a blade in the man’s face as he rifled through his pockets.

When the jerk had taken the pharmaceuticals, phone, and money, he ran off.

Shakedown

A collector battered a woman and ripped away her necklace on 68th Street on Oct. 14, according to cops.

The woman said the man approached her at her home between 19th and 20th avenues at 1:20 am and demanded payment for money her family had borrowed. When the victim refused, the thug slapped her in the face and tore a gold chain from her throat, before jumping in his gray Mercedes-Benz and driving off.

Gate crashers

A band of burglars busted into an 86th Street business and stole $5,500 in cash from inside on Oct. 13, police report.

Cameras show the crooks breaking the chain gate and smashing the storefront of Show Image near Bay 25th Street at 4 am. Once they’d gained entry, the bandits raided the store for money and textiles.

Born to be wild

A crook sped away with a motorcycle parked on 84th Street on Oct. 8, cops say.

The owner said she left her hog between 20th and 21st avenues and put a front wheel lock on it at 11:45 pm. The boot didn’t do the biker much good, though, because when she came out the next morning, the machine was gone.

Jackpot

A bandit broke into a Bath Avenue bodega and stole its stash of cash and lotto tickets on Oct. 14, according to police.

The owner of the deli at the corner of Bay 10th Street said the crook forced the front door open at 3:40 am and swiped the money and scratch-offs.
