Shoppers beware.

Four store patrons reported having their wallets or bags stolen while browsing the aisles in stores along Downtown’s Fulton Mall on the same day last week.

Thieves struck twice in a clothing store on Fulton between Bridge and Duffield streets on Aug. 26, cops said.

First, a 35-year-old woman told officers she was shopping at 12:50 pm and left her bag hanging from her baby carriage while she walked away to browse. When she came back 15 minutes later the bag was gone, cops said. The bag contained a wallet holding six credit cards, the victim stated.

At 6:20 pm on the same day, in the same store, a 29-year-old woman was shopping and also left her bag hanging from a baby stroller, she said. A sneak came by while she wasn’t looking, opened the bag, and fished out her wallet, which contained $50 in cash and two credit cards, according to a police report.

Further down Fulton in a different clothing store between Bond Street and Hanover Place, a pickpocket relieved a 25-year-old woman of her billfold while she was shopping at 3 pm. The woman said she was in the store for an hour and had the wallet in her purse. Outside, she discovered the wallet was gone, according to the NYPD.

Around the same time, in a store between Hanover and Flatbush Avenue, a lowlife removed a wallet from a 26-year-old woman’s purse as she perused the merchandise. The victim recalled that she had the wallet when she came in the store at 3:10 pm, and it was gone when she left 10 minutes later.
