Invasion of the purse-snatcher
A jerk ripped away a woman’s bag while she was walking down 65th Street on Oct. 10, police report.
The victim told cops she was between 11th and 12th avenues on her way home at 10 pm when the punk snuck up on her from behind and pulled her pocketbook — with her iTouch, cellphone, and $170 in cash inside — away. The perp escaped without the woman getting a good look at him.
No cell, no tell
A gun-toting thug held up a man on Fort Hamilton Parkway for his cash and iPhone on Oct. 7, police say.
The victim reported that he was near 62nd Street at 9:30 pm when the perp approached him holding a handarm.
“Give me your money, don’t look at my face, and don’t call the police,” the goon ordered as he stripped the man of his mobile device and $80.
Off the rim
A creep stripped the wheels of a car on Shore Road of its treads and rims — a $1,600 value — sometime between Oct. 1 and Oct. 9, according to cops.
The owner said she left the vehicle between 94th and 95th streets at 3 pm and came back eight days later to find that somebody had jacked both the tires and the custom shiny add-ons.
Hungry for justice
A crook heisted a shish kebab cart from in back of its owner’s 71st Street home sometime between Oct. 1 and Oct. 10, cops say.
The victim reported that she parked her Greek meat wagon at the rear of her house between Eighth Avenue and Fort Hamilton Parkway at noon and went away for nine days. She returned home to find somebody had run away with her beef buggy.
