Pinch and pummel

Police are looking for a pair of punks who snatched a man’s electronic tablet and punched him in the face as he rode a Church Avenue-bound G train on July 15, according to authorities.

The 28-year-old victim told cops he was sitting on the train at 8 pm, when a goon came over and grabbed his device just as the doors of the car were opening at the Bergen Street stop, which is near the intersection of Smith and Bergen streets.

He turned around and received a swift punch to the back of the head from a second person, cops said. Both brutes took off running towards the Court Street exit, police said.

Bike gone upon return

Someone stole a bicycle from the hallway of an Atlantic Avenue building on July 10 or 11, authorities said.

A 28-year-old cyclist told police his bike was in the hallway when he left his apartment between Nevins Street and Third Avenue on July 10 at 3 pm. But when he returned the next day at 2 pm, the carbon fiber road bike was gone, police said.

Gun gone missing

A burglar stole a handgun from a car parked at the corner of Clark Street and Cadman Plaza West on July 11.

The 55-year-old gun owner told police he stowed his Glock 27, a magazine, and nine rounds of ammunition under the driver’s seat when he parked the car and got on the train at 11:00 am.

He returned a half-hour later and the gun was gone, cops said. There were no signs of forced entry to the vehicle, according to a police report.

Subway steal

A sneak snatched a woman’s wallet on a Brooklyn-bound Q train on July 13, police said.

The 24-year-old woman told cops she boarded the Q train in Manhattan at 3:30 pm, and realized the wallet was gone when she got to the DeKalb Avenue station at the intersection of DeKalb Avenue and Flatbush Avenue Extension at 4 pm.

The crook used her debit card to purchase MetroCards at two different locations before the victim canceled the card, according to a police report.

Jewelry heist

A burglar made off with a bunch of jewelry from a State Street apartment sometime between June 30 and July 14, cops said.

A 48-year-old resident of the apartment between Clinton Street and Sidney Place told police her jewelry box was on the bureau in her bedroom when she left for a trip to Tennessee at 3 pm on June 30.

She returned at 8 am on July 14 and discovered 33 pieces of jewelry missing, according to a police report. The precious accessories included rings, earrings, and watches estimated to be worth $8,900, the report says.

Peppered

Authorities arrested two women who they said stole another woman’s cellphone and sprayed her with pepper spray outside of a Livingston Street restaurant on July 16.

The 24-year-old victim told cops she was smoking a cigarette in front of the restaurant between Gallatin Place and Hoyt Street at 11 pm. The 23- and 24-year-old suspects came over, grabbed the woman’s phone, and sprayed her in the face with pepper spray, according to a police report.

Nursing home invasion

A bandit stole a woman’s purse from her room in a Dean Street nursing home on July 18.

The 68-year-old victim said an unknown guy came into her room, in the facility between Hoyt and Bond streets, sometime between 6:30 and 7:30 pm. He took her purse and took off, cops said. The bag contained $57 in cash, a debit card, a MetroCard and three rings, police said.

Basement bust

Police captured a suspected burglar they found hiding out in the basement of a Pacific Street residence on July 18, allegedly waiting to burgle the apartment upstairs, according to authorities.

The homeowners told cops they were at the home between Hoyt and Bond streets watching a movie at 10:41 pm when they heard someone enter their basement. They called police who arrived minutes later, found a 49-year-old man in the cellar, and slapped cuffs on him, a police report says.

Tools taken

Someone snatched a bunch of construction tools from a MetroTech office on July 19.

Workers locked up the office, which is in a building on the corner of Jay Street and the Myrtle Avenue promenade, at 2 am. When employees entered the office at 7 am that same morning, the door had been wedged open, according to a police report.

The sneaks made off with three chipping guns, three reciprocating saws, and a coring machine among other equipment, the report says.

Sneak while asleep

A silent sneak stole a man’s wallet from inside his Remsen Street apartment while he slept on July 17, cops said.

The 56-year-old told police he fell asleep in the apartment between Henry and Clinton streets at midnight with the window open and his wallet sitting nearby.

When he awoke at 6 am, the window was still open, the front door of the apartment was open, and his wallet was gone, cops said.
