Police are searching for two suspects in connection with a pair of purse snatchings in Bay Ridge.
The first incident took place at 1:50 pm on June 14, when a man in his early 20s ran up behind a 75-year-old woman on 95th Street between Marine Avenue and Third Avenue, grabbed her handbag, and fled toward Marine, police said.
That same evening, a guy snatched a woman’s pocketbook from a table in a donut shop at the corner of Seventh Avenue and 64th Street at 10:45 pm on June 14, according to cops. When the woman tried to stop him, he whipped out a knife and threatened her, law enforcement officials said. The suspect was last seen wearing a red New York Giants hat, blue jeans, and a grey T-shirt, a report states.
