A chemical spill at Roy H. Mann Junior High School caused minor injuries for two custodians.
The spill at the Bergen Beach school at E. 68 Street happened at 11:11 am on Tuesday and the affected workers were taken to the burn center at New York Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan.
“We transferred two patients to New York Hospital,” said firefighter Michael Parrella.
The substance causing the injuries is still unknown, pending tests.
Firefighters and the hazardous materials team cleaned possibly contaminated areas inside and outside the school.
