Faulty plan

Police arrested a man who they say stole a cellphone out of a car on Graham Avenue on June 15 — and then demanded ransom to get it back.

The victim told police that he parked his vehicle between Siegel and McKibben streets at 3:30 pm. When he returned 20 minutes later, he found his phone missing.

The victim called his phone and the suspect picked up and told the victim to show up with $100 to get his phone back, according to the police report. He showed up with police, who arrested the man and charged him with grand larceny.

Fast food

A punk robbed a delivery man who was dropping off food on Clymer Street on June 14.

The victim told police that he went to an apartment between Bedford Avenue and Juliana Place at 2:50 pm to deliver food. When he got to the third floor, a man put a knife in his face.

“Give me the money,” the robber said, and then thrust his hands into the victim’s pockets and took out $100 in cash, and ran away.

Fiesty teen

Police arrested a teenager who they say punched two cops in the face on Moore Street on June 14.

Police said they were attempting to arrest the 18-year-old between Humboldt Street and Bushwick Avenue at 4:30 pm when the teenager punched both officers in the face, causing them both pain to their lips and noses. One cop suffered a bloody nose.

The teen was charged with assault.

Bike-by

A young man was arrested for stealing a cellphone out of the hand of a woman sitting in Cooper Park on June 12.

The woman told police that she was sitting at the northwest corner of Olive and Sharon streets at 10 pm and was chatting with a friend on her phone when a guy rode up on his bicycle and grabbed the phone out of her hand and rode off.

Police arrested the teen and charged him with grand larceny.

Fried with that

A group of teenagers viciously attacked a 13-year-old inside a Broadway fast food restaurant on June 10.

The victim told police that he was inside the eatery between Thornton and Whipple streets at 2:35 pm when five older guys surrounded him and tried to bring him outside. The victim refused and the bullies laughed and left.

A few minutes later, three of them came back and beat the teenager around the head and face with a wooden cane and their fists. The bullies ran off after they finished the beating.
