Changes are afoot, folks! Most of the changes are during non-peak hours, but the subtext is clear: get out on your bike before the weather turns and the MTA really leaves you out in the cold.

All changes are from Saturday, October 6 at 12:01 am to Monday to October 8 at 5 am unless otherwise noted:

3: No trains between Franklin Avenue and New Lots Avenue, from 6 am on Saturday to 10 pm on Sunday.

4: No trains between Utica Avenue and New Lots Avenue from 4 am on Saturday to 10 pm on Sunday. Take the shuttle.

G: No trains between Hoyt-Schermerhorn streets and Church Avenue from midnight to 5 am on Saturday. Take the A to the F.

J: No trains between Crescent Street and Jamaica Center from 4 am on Saturday to 10 pm on Sunday.

M: Service is suspended. Take the free shuttle.

N: Coney Island-bound trains are rerouted from Canal Street over the Manhattan Bridge to DeKalb Avenue from midnight to 6:30 am on Saturday and Sunday, and from midnight to 5 am on Monday. The trains will also run local in both directions between 59th Street and 36th Street between midnight and 5 am on Monday.

R: Bay Ridge-bound trains will be rerouted across the Manhattan Bridge from Canal Street to DeKalb Avenue. Trains heading to 36th Street will run local from 59th Street to 36th Street from midnight to 6:30 am on Saturday and Sunday and from midnight to 5 am on Monday.
