Police said a crook swiped a man’s shipment of rings from the vestibule of his apartment on State Street sometime overnight on Jan. 23.
The unlucky bling buyer told cops the sneak thief took the package from his home between Sidney Place and Clinton Street sometime between 8 pm on Jan. 23 and 11 am on Jan. 24, and that the package contained three Eerie Basin rings worth tons of money.
Nab-top
A thief stole a laptop from a woman’s apartment on Bergen Street on Feb. 14, police said.
The Valentine’s Day victim told cops she left her home between Hoyt and Smith streets for work at 7 am and, when she returned at 4:30 pm, she could not find her computer. She also told cops the door may have been unlocked.
Hey! train
A pickpocket pinched a woman’s cellphone on a Manhattan-bound A train on Feb. 14, according to police.
The lady told cops she entered the train at Jay Street at around 8:45 am, and a guy followed her on and leaned against her as the train started moving.
She said her phone was in her jacket pocket and she felt jostled when the thief lifted his arm. The no-goodnik jumped off the train at High Street and the woman noticed her phone missing.
Hardware stole
A crook removed a man’s tools from his minivan while it was parked on Nevins Street between Feb. 12 and 14, cops said.
The victim told cops he parked his 2004 Toyota Sienna between Dean and Bergen streets at 11 pm and, when he returned on Feb. 14 at 7:45 am, the items were missing. The burglar made off with a set of lights, two levels, a cordless drill, a hammer, a socket set, a multitool, and a USB charger, authorities said.
Swiped
Somebody swiped a Clinton Street’s man debit card on Feb. 11 and the victim did not realize it until a charge was made, cops said.
The unlucky sap, who lives between Pierrepont Street and Cadman Plaza West, said he did not know the precious piece of plastic was missing until the bank told him $904.49 had been charged to his account, according to a police report.
Bag handler
A quick criminal swiped a woman’s purse from between her feet while she sat a Coney Island-bound F train on Feb. 13, according to cops.
The woman reported she set her Michael Kors bag on the floor between her feet and, at 12:15 am, a fellow passenger got up, grabbed the bag, and ran.
Diner and dash
A rascal heisted a wallet from a Livingston Street restaurant counter on Feb. 12, cops said.
The victim said he grabbed some grub at the eatery between Hoyt and Smith streets at 8:10 pm, and left his wallet on the counter. Some scallywag used his credit card at a liquor store and a MetroCard vending machine, racking up $179.44 in charges, police reported.
Dinner special
An outlaw swiped a wallet from inside a restaurant on Fulton Street on Feb. 10, police said.
The victim told cops she ate dinner at the eatery between Adams and Pearl streets around 9 pm and left her purse unattended on a bench. She said she noticed it was missing as she left. The Marc Jacobs wallet contained $200 in cash, gift cards, and credit cards, cops stated.
Losing combination
Cops cuffed a wild woman who they said bludgeoned a fellow subway passenger in the face with a combination lock at the Atlantic Avenue station on Feb. 10.
The victim reported she was standing on the platform at the Barclays Center stop at 3:30 pm when she the crazed lady approached.
The steamed straphanger clobbered the victim in the face with the lock, leaving her with a scratch that needed to stitches to close, according to a police report.
Shoe shakedown
A marauder was arrested for helping to jump a woman and steal two pairs of her shoes on York Street on Feb. 10, cops said.
The victim told police a trio of bad-news ladies attacked her as she walked between Bridge and Gold streets at 9 pm. The fearsome threesome delivered a fusillade of punches and yanked away her car keys, a pair of Ugg boots, and a pair Michael Jordan sneakers, cops said.
Bad loan
Cops picked up two ruffians who they say stole a guy’s phone on Third Avenue on Feb. 10.
The victim said he knew the suspects when they approached him near Livingston Street around noon and demanded his phone, and that he did not put up a fight. Cops arrested the suspects shortly after.
Carted off
A crook took a woman’s purse from her shopping cart in a store on Fulton Street on Feb. 10, according to police.
The lady told cops she was looking at cookbooks in the store near Gallatin Place at 1 pm, then returned to her cart to find the bag was gone. She was out $30 in cash plus debit and credit cards, a police report said.
Bucket-less
A burglar broke into an Atlantic Avenue business on Jan. 9, making off with a laptop, an electronic tablet, and $327 in cash that had been stored in a bucket, cops said.
The business owner said he noticed a broken window when he went to open the office between Third and Fourth avenues at 4:15 pm. When he got inside he noticed the items were missing, police said.
Heavy smoker
Cops are looking for a fiend who nicked 20 cartons of cigarettes from a pharmacy on Fulton Street on Feb. 10.
Workers for the store, between Smith Street and Gallatin Place, said the raider ran behind the counter at 6:45 pm, grabbed the smokes, and took off. Police said the stolen stogies were worth $2,230.38.
Mean mugging
A terrible trio punched a guy in the face and stole his cellphone on Dean street on Feb. 14, cops said.
The victim stated he was walking near the corner of Nevins street at 12:35 am when the goons approached. One of the toughs punched him and demanded his mobile device, he said. One took it and the threesome vamoosed, police said.
