Two robbers jumped and robbed a man as he was walking through Fort Greene Park on Jan. 22.
The 35-year-old victim told police that he was walking through the park at 10 pm when the two men ran up to him and one of them punched him in the face. They both started beating him, caused cuts to his right ear and face. They grabbed his phone and ran off.
A phone tracker last showed the phone on Park Avenue, but police have not recovered it.
Train station robbery
A robber attacked a woman in the Fulton Avenue G train subway stop and stole her phone on Jan. 24.
The 22-year-old victim told police that she was walking down the stairs to the train stop at the corner of Fulton Street and South Portland at 4:10 pm when a man grabbed her from behind and put her in a chokehold.
“Give it up,” he said, before he punched her in the head. He then grabbed her phone out of her jacket pocket and ran back of the stairs. The phone has no tracking device.
Gang robbery
A trio of robbers used a semiautomatic handgun to steal a guy’s iPhone on Flushing Avenue on Jan. 21.
The 29-year-old victim told police that he was between Cumberland Street and N. Oxford Street at 6:50 pm when the three men approached him.
“Don’t act stupid,” one of them said while pointing a gun in his face. One of the other robbers went through the victim’s pants pockets and took his iPhone, and the three ran away.
Purse beating
Cops cuffed a teen who they say assaulted a woman and stole her purse on Willoughby Avenue on Jan. 26.
The 31-year-old victim told police that she was on the corner of Clairmont Street at 4:10 pm when three guys grabbed her by the throat, threw her to the ground, dragged her along the sidewalk, and stole her Marc Jacobs purse, iPhone, and metal earrings.
Police arrested an 18-year-old and charged him with robbery. The other two suspects have not been caught.
Bar slashing
An unknown assailant slashed a guy during a Lafayette Avenue bar fight on Jan. 20.
The 44-year-old victim told police that he was just about to leave a bar at S. Portland Avenue at 1:30 am when someone slashed him across both wrists. The victim told police he did not know who slashed him.
Police said the victim was uncooperative and refused to provide much information.
