The 56-year-old woman said she was near Congress Street heading toward Long Island College Hospital at 11:10 pm when she noticed a suspicious man watching her on the Congress Street overpass. She continued down the boulevard and was suddenly approached by three men who threw her to the ground, snatched her chain and ID, and grabbed her purse.

The woman’s wallet was later recovered at Columbia and Congress streets, but was missing credits cards, as well as an iPhone charger.

The 32-year-old woman said she was between Kay and Degraw streets at 10:04 pm when she got hit in the back of the head. When she turned around, three men got in her face and yelled, “Give me your phone!”

But when the victim yelled for help, the perps fled down Kane Street.

Greedy hands

A crafty criminal stole a woman’s package from her Kane Street doorstep sometime between Dec. 30 and Jan. 2 — for the third time this month, police said.

Mountain man

A bandit stole a man’s bicycle from a basement on Baltic Street sometime between Jan. 2 and Jan. 10, cops said.

The 44-year-old man said he parked his red mountain bike in a basement hallway between Smith and Court streets on Jan. 2 at 11 pm, and when he came back on Jan. 10 at 9 pm, it was missing.
