Spitting mad
A man was arrested for allegedly spitting on a woman, punching her, and breaking her cellphone on Avenue L on Sept. 18.
The victim told police that she was near E. 34th Street at 2:25 pm when the suspect sauced her with saliva. When the victim attempted to call 911, the suspect allegedly grabbed the phone from her hands and hurled it at a wall, breaking it.
The suspect went even further when he punched the woman in the face, busting her headphones in the process, before spitting on her one last time, cops said.
Unpleasant headlock
Cops arrested a man who they say punched a woman and put her in a headlock on Bergen Avenue on Sept. 12.
The victim told police that she was between Avenues U and T at 3:50 am when the suspect slugged her in the face and body, before locking her head underneath his armpits.
Toothpaste and beer
A man was arrested for allegedly stealing toothpaste and beer from a Flatbush Avenue chain drugstore on Sept. 24.
A security guard told police that he was working at the business between Fillmore Avenue and Avenue S at 1 am when he spotted the suspect grabbing a tube of toothpaste and a bottle of beer, before attempting to leave without paying for them.
When the guard tried to stop the man, he allegedly punched the employee in the face and fled on foot.
