Bensonhurst—Bath Beach

Beaten to the punch

Cops cuffed a Gravesender who they say slugged another man in the face and threatened him with a knife on W. 11th Street on Sept. 8.

The victim claims he was between Avenue P and Kings Highway at 2:30 am when the accused struck him on the face, shattering his sunglasses. The accuser also said that the man in custody pulled out a gravity knife — banned under state law — and waved it in his face.

Above the belt

A Bath Beach resident was arrested for allegedly cracking another man on the skull with a belt buckle on Shore Parkway on Sept. 5.

The victim told cops that he was near Bay Parkway at 4:43 am when the accused pulled off his strap and swung the metal end at the victim’s skull, striking him twice.

Cut-rate crook

Authorities arrested a man who they say attacked a woman with a knife inside a W. Sixth Street apartment building on Sept. 8.

The woman said that accused came at her with the blade in the hallway of their residence between 65th Street and Avenue O at 10:40 pm. The victim claimed that the alleged assailant sliced her finger with the weapon, and poked her in the breast.
