Southern Brooklyn saw two nasty motorcycle accidents last weekend, one in Canarsie and another on the Belt Parkway in Sheepshead Bay, sending one man to the hospital in cardiac arrest and sending a tragically young woman to an early grave.

Paramedics rushed to the weekend’s first grisly accident at Avenue L and Rockaway Parkway at 6 pm on Saturday, where they found the victim lying unconscious and suffering from cardiac arrest. They rushed him to Brookdale Hospital in critical condition, according to a spokesman for the FDNY.

Adel Saleh was filling out lotto tickets behind the counter of the S and E Minimart on Avenue L, when he heard a tremendous boom and looked up to see the motorcyclist as he came to rest near a storm drain — some 20-feet away from his bike.

“I was inside doing lotto and then I heard ‘boom!’ ” Saleh recounted. “Then I saw the guy was flying in the air, so I closed the store and called the ambulance.”

The victim was launched from his motorcycle after colliding with an SUV in the intersection, according to police.

Another accident occurred in an east-bound lane of the Belt Parkway near Knapp Street at 8:41 pm on Sunday, when police and paramedics found 21-year-old Jasmine Calix lying on the highway with severe head trauma.

She was rushed to Coney Island Hospital in critical condition, where she died.

A police investigation revealed that the Calix was thrown from her 2004 Yamaha motorcycle after it lost traction on the road and began to skid, eventually falling to one side and ejecting her onto the Belt, cops said.

No other vehicles were struck as a result of the accident, according to police.
