Struck on the street
A 35-year-old man was arrested for striking another man with a metal rod on E. 19th Street on Aug. 3, police say.
The victim was between Ditmas and Newkirk avenues at 11:05 pm when the man allegedly attacked him, cutting his cheek.
In and out
Police arrested a 17-year-old man who they say trespassed in a house on E. 16th Street on June 20.
The man allegedly entered the house, located between Beverley and Courtelyou roads, at 7:40 am and was confronted by a resident. He allegedly claimed the resident’s father had contracted him to do some work, but the resident fled and sought assistance from a neighbor. The man then left the building.
The resident claimed that the back door of the house had been damaged and that his wallet and a Nintendo video game were missing after the man left.
Video footage shows the man enter and exit a shed at the back of the house and then walk toward the back door.
Early morning assault
A 22-year-old man was arrested for stabbing another man on E. 16th Street on Aug. 4, police say.
The victim was between Caton and Church avenues at 3:25 am when the man allegedly attacked him.
