Cops are on the hunt for a would-be kidnapper who attempted to abduct a young woman at gunpoint outside of the Community Board 18 building on Bergen Avenue on July 22.
The 23-year-old victim told police that she was near Avenue K at 2 am, when a man driving a dark-colored minivan pulled up along side her, leveled a pistol, and demanded she enter his car.
Fortunately, the young woman made a run for it and instead of pursuing her, the crook fled.
The suspect is described as a 20-year-old man, with a thin build last seen wearing Yankee’s baseball cap.
