MARINE PARK: Police: Woman stabs man in arm

Right in the arm

Police arrested a 33-year-old woman who they say stabbed a man with a kitchen knife on Utica Avenue on April 24.

The victim told police that he was between avenues M and N at 12:15 am when the suspect took out the knife and stabbed him in the arm.

The woman is being charged with assault, menacing, criminal possession of a weapon and harassment.

Bus bothers

Two 19-year-old women were arrested for acting inappropriately on a bus and then threatening the bus driver on Utica Avenue on May 31.

According to police, the suspects were on the bus near Avenue N at 12:15 pm and were cursing loudly and spilling their drinks all over the bus seats. When the bus driver asked them to get off, they threatened to shoot the driver, cops reported.

When officers attempted to arrest the women, both resisted by continually flailing their arms, according to police.

The defendants are both being charged with resisting arrest, menacing, disorderly conduct and harassment.

House hit

Police arrested a 25-year-old man who they say stole various electronic devices and cash from a residence on E. 38th Street on May 14.

The victim told police that sometime between 12:30 and 3 pm, someone entered her home between Avenues I and J and stole an iPad, an HP laptop and its charger, a cellphone, and a large amount of money. According to police, all of the stolen goods and money are worth more than $1,000.

The defendant is being charged with burglary, grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, criminal trespass, petit larceny and trespass.
