Teen attacker
Cops are hunting a thug who they say slugged a 16-year-old in the face on Nostrand Avenue on May 31.
The victim told police that he was near Avenue X at 2 pm when the suspect waltzed up to him and asked him what school he went to, before punching him in the face a couple times and fleeing. The victim was battered enough that he had to be taken to Beth Israel Hospital for treatment.
Hapless husband
A reckless motorist smashed his Toyota Camry into two parked cars on Avenue T on May 13, before fleeing the wreckage on foot.
The driver smashed into the cars near Bedford Avenue at 5:20 am, before fleeing without reporting the accident, according to police. A woman who later popped up at the scene said that her father was the registered owner of the smashed up Camry, but that her husband was the likely driver.
Man bites wife
A man bit his wife inside their Batchelder Street home on June 1, according to police.
The victim told police she was inside the house she shared with her husband between Emmons Avenue and Shore Parkway at 9:40 am when, following an argument, the man bit her triceps and fled.
iSnatcher
A crook snatched a 16-year-old boy’s iPhone from his hands at the 86th Street subway station on June 2.
The victim told police he was near W. Seventh Street at 11:35 am when the crook grabbed his phone as he attempted to board a Coney Island-bound N train, and ran like the wind, evading the victim.
Purse picker
A crook beat and robbed a 38-year-old woman on E. 26th Street on June 2 — taking her purse, which contained all of $4.
The victim told police she was near Shore Parkway at 2:15 am when the suspect ambushed her, yanked her hair, and threw her to the street, before grabbing her purse and fleeing north towards E. 26th Street.
Drive-by puncher
Some thug reached through a man’s car window and punched him in the face on E. Seventh Street on May 31.
The victim told police that he was in his vehicle near Avenue S at midnight, driving around the block looking for parking, when the suspect reached into his car and punched him without provocation.
The goon hit the victim so hard, he had to be taken to New York Community Hospital for treatment.
Tired
A thief striped the tires off of a woman’s Nissan parked on Shore Parkway on June 2.
The victim told police that she left her car near Knapp Street at 10:23 pm with four tires still attached, and returned the next morning to find she only had one left on the front passenger side.
Cat food fight
Cops are hunting for a 46-year-old man who they say threw cat food at his wife inside their Batchelder Street home on June 3.
The victim told police that she was inside her home between Avenues Y and Z at 1:30 am when the suspect waltzed in drunk and hurled the can filled with feline sustenance in her direction.
The victim said her hubby frequently comes home drunk in the wee hours of the morning, although she didn’t mention him ever throwing cat food before, according to police.
Striper
A crook striped a man’s Mercedes Benz parked on Gravesend Neck Road on June 2.
The victim told police that he left his car near Avenue V at 8:30 pm, and returned the next morning to find he was missing a navigation center, dashboard, and an air bag.
