Trains are loved the world over. But, with changes like these, it’s a minor miracle we take the train at all. Good luck out there this weekend, folks. That city’s bike share program couldn’t come soon enough.
All changes are from Saturday, August 18 at 12:01 am to Monday, August 20 at 5 am unless otherwise noted:
3: No trains between Franklin Avenue and New Lots Avenue stations from 6 pm on Saturday to 10 pm on Sunday.
4: No trains between Utica Avenue and New Lots Avenue stations from 4 am on Saturday to 10 pm on Sunday. Take the shuttle.
D: Manhattan-bound trains will be rerouted over the N line from Stillwell Avenue to 36th Street from 4 am on Saturday to 10 pm on Sunday. Manhattan-bound trains will also run express from 36th Street to Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and skip DeKalb Avenue from midnight to 6:30 am, on Saturday and Sunday, and from midnight to 5 am on Monday.
F: Queens-bound trains will be rerouted over the A line from Jay Street-MetroTech to West Fourth Street.
J: No trains between Crescent Street and Jamaica Center in Queens from 6 am on Saturday to 10 pm on Sunday.
N: Trains will run along the R line in both directions between Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and Canal Street.
Q: Trains will be rerouted to the R line in both directions between DeKalb Avenue and Canal Street.
R: No trains between 59th Street and 36th Street from midnight to 6:30 am on Saturday and Sunday, and midnight to 5 am on Monday. Take the N.
