Hold up at the liquor store
Cops arrested a 22-year-old man who they say robbed a liquor store on Utica Avenue with an unknown accomplice on May 9, according to the district attorney’s office.
The victim told police the two suspects entered the store between Avenues K and L at 9:05 pm and stole cash from the register, and the un-apprehended suspect wielded what appeared to be a gun.
Video surveillance also shows the unknown suspect stealing a wallet from another man inside the store, according to police.
Taking one to the face
Cops arrested an 18-year-old man for stealing clothes from a retail store on Avenue U on May 8.
A security guard told police he observed the suspect place six pairs of jeans and a shirt in a bag and attempt to exit the store between Flatbush and Mill avenues at 1:20 pm.
Another security guard told police that, when he stopped the suspect, he elbowed the guard in the face, cutting his lip and bruising his face.
Witnesses foil theives
Cops arrested two men, 21 and 18, for breaking into a car on Foster Avenue on May 11.
