Honey, I’m home!
Cops arrested a 21-year-old man and a juvenile accomplice for robbing a woman after she walked into her Flatlands Fifth Street home while they were ransacking it on Nov. 21, according to the district attorney’s office.
The victim told police she returned to her home between E. 105th and E. 108th streets at 4 pm only to find the suspects rifling through her valuables and who, upon seeing her, pulled out a gun.
“We’re going to rob you,” the suspect allegedly barked.
The juvenile suspect then kicked down a door inside the victim’s home, and the suspects proceeded to loot jewelry, a laptop computer, and cash, according to police.
Flailing jumper cables
A 29-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly beating a man with jumper cables on E. 98th Street on May 8.
The victim told police that she was between Avenue N and Seaview Avenue at 7:40 pm when the suspect, wielding the weighted cables like a flail, bashed him on the head.
The unfortunate man suffered a nasty cut on his noggin, but was otherwise unharmed, according to police.
