Eye sore
A 16-year-old girl was arrested for splashing rubbing alcohol on a police officer’s face on Albemarle Road on Feb. 16.
Another officer at the scene reported that he was between E. 19th Street and Ocean Avenue at 8:50 am when the suspect hurled the rubbing alcohol at his partner’s face. The victim suffered temporary vision loss, according to police.
Brick head
Police arrested a 43-year-old man who they say hurled a brick through the window of a Flatbush Avenue business on Feb. 15 — striking an employee in the back of the head.
The victim told police that he was working the register at the business between Vanderveer Place and E. 23rd Street at 8 pm, when, after purchasing a Pepsi, the suspect asked to exchange the soda for a less-expensive item. When the victim handed the suspect the difference, the man allegedly flew in to a rage, hurling insults and threats at the victim because he didn’t believe he’d received the proper amount in change.
The suspect eventually left, but only to grab a brick and throw it through the business’s front window, striking the victim’s head, cops said.
