Red light district
Three armed thugs robbed two men of their vehicle and valuables at a traffic signal on 72nd Street on Jan. 31, cops say.
The victims told police they were stopped at a red light near Bay Parkway at 3:20 am when the crooks approached them with their firearms out. One of the gun-toting goons opened the driver’s-side door, yanked the driver from the vehicle, and forced him to the ground, then stripped him of his cash, his cellphone, and several items of jewelry.
The other two lowlifes pulled out the passenger and took his money and mobile device. The trio then jumped into the car and drove off.
Highway robbery
A gun-toting trio stuck up a man for his cellphone at the Kings Highway N train stop on Jan. 28, police report.
The victim said he was waiting on the platform at the station near W. Seventh Street at 1:15 pm when the threatening threesome approached him with a silver handgun drawn.
“You have two seconds to give me your phone,” one of the perps said.
The victim handed over his iPhone and the three fiends fled toward Highlawn Avenue.
Child abuse
Two goons punched a 14-year-old girl and stole her iPhone on 84th Street on Jan. 31, according to cops.
The young teen said she was in front of her home between 16th and 17th avenues at 5 pm when the punks approached her.
One of them reached into her pocket and took her cellphone, and when the girl struggled, they socked her in the eye.
Phantom fire
A fiend shot a man on 86th Street on Jan. 28, police say.
The victim said he was near Bay 34th Street at 9:50 pm on his way home when he heard the crack of a gun, and a moment later felt a pain in his right leg and realized the bullet had hit him — even though the shooter was nowhere in sight.
Bright idea
An vicious perp smashed a fluorescent light bulb in a man’s face on Bay 16th Street on Feb. 3, according to authorities.
The victm said he was between 87th and 88th streets at 10:30 pm when the brute bashed him in the head with the energy-saving bulb, causing lacerations to his mouth and hands.
