Blame it on Craig
An armed con artist robbed a man on 86th Street on Jan. 22 after making arrangements to buy his iPhone on Craigslist, police report.
The victim told cops the crook contacted him after he placed his gadget on the popular want-ad site, and the two agreed to meet in person near Bay 41st Street at 2 pm.
The victim said that when the villain arrived, he pulled out a black gun and demanded the phone for free. The victim handed the device over, and the robber jumped in his car and drove away.
Beaten to the punch

The victim said the perp approached him near 15th Avenue at 7 pm and requested to make a call on his phone. The victim handed the gadget over, and the villain immediately told him he wouldn’t be giving it back.
“This is a robbery,” the fiend allegedly said. “You have 30 seconds to walk away or I’m going to punch you in the mouth.”
The crook then fled in the direction of 67th Street.
Road rage
A dispute between two brutes on Bath Avenue resulted in property damage and gunfire on Jan. 22, police say.
A witness told police that he spotted the two men arguing near Bay 13th Street at 6:39 pm. The disagreement became so heated that one of the thugs hit the other’s car with a baseball bat — prompting the other goon to pull a gun and begin firing, the witness said.
The slugger-toting lowlife fled, and no one was hurt, police said.
Chained down
A thug struck a man across the face with a bike chain during a fight inside a 78th Street building on Jan. 27, cops report.

During the confrontation the crook pulled out the chain and hit the victim with it, causing a deep cut to open on the victim’s head, police reported.
The injured man received treatment at a nearby hospital.
Spinning
A thief removed the tires and rims from a car parked on W. 12th Street sometime between Jan. 25 and Jan. 27, police say.
